During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan County Commissioners Lonnie Wright and Tom Ringley updated listeners on the progress of the Sheridan County Airport’s baggage claim expansion project.
According to Commissioner Ringley, the new carousel is estimated to arrive and be installed sometime in May.
In 2020, an addition to the terminal was completed. That addition included streamlined screening and provided a holding room for travelers. The new annex offers waiting passengers a seating area with vending machines and work and charging stations.
One of the main goals of the newest update to the baggage claim is to improve foot traffic throughout the entire facility and meet future travel demands of an increasing flying public.
