Workshop to teach kids the power of their own voice

Registration has begun for a unique winter workshop for young learners hosted by Science Kids.
The Power of Youth Voices is a workshop for youth ages 10 – 13 years old, to teach youth how to unleash the power of their voice through words and images.
Youth will be instructed on communicating their ideas as a life skill. Learn how to advocate for their favorite ice cream flavor in words and art, without screaming for ice cream, and they’re on their way to making good change happen. Children will practice with Mountain West Regional Coordinator for the Citizens’ Climate Lobby, Bill Barron.
Barron wishes to teach children how to feel empowered to give voice to the things they care about.
The Power of Youth Voices will begin at 1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5. Tuition is $10.
