Sheridan Commission OKs ARPA Grant Application

Sheridan County’s Commissioners, at their regular Tuesday meeting, approved an application for ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) grant funding to help in financing Sheridan Memorial Hospital’s EmPATH Project.
According to discussions at the meeting, the county will apply for $1.5 million in ARPA Grant funding.
The grant, if approved by the State Loan and Investments Board (SLIB) will bring the county’s portion of funding down by the $1.5 million in funding.
Earlier this fall the commission earmarked $2.5 million in county funds for the project.
The county has the $2.5 million they earmarked for the project if the grant application is unsuccessful.
