Sheridan Commission to Consider Application for ARPA Funds

The Sheridan County Commission, at their regular Tuesday meeting, will consider
a resolution for the submission of the Local Government American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) Project Application to the State Loan and Investment Board (SLIB) on behalf of Sheridan County for the Sheridan Memorial Hospital EmPATH Project.
According to an earlier report on Sheridan Media, in November (SLIB) awarded a $5.9 million grant to the hospital to develop an Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment, Healing (EmPATH) and Crisis Stabilization Unit to serve the Sheridan County region.
The hospital is currently working to gain additional of the funding for the remainder of the $12.8 million project.
Also on the agenda for the meeting is the consideration of two lot size variances, a subdivision application, the acceptance of the FY2021-22 Financial and Compliance Report, consideration of the bid award and contract amendment #6 for the County Road #67 (Wolf Creek Road Project), and consideration of the appointment of Patrick Morgan to the Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board to fill an unexpired term.
The meeting will be Tuesday morning beginning at 9 a.m. in the Second Floor Board Room, #220, of the Sheridan County Courthouse Addition.
The meeting is open to the public.
