A Look Back in Time: Feb. 19, 1920

Now here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 19, 1920.

Mrs. Mildred French was arrested in Gillette this morning and will be returned to Sheridan for trial on a charge of forging a number of checks here.

G. V. Stack, contractor in charge of constructing the Sheridan-Big Horn concrete road, has issued assurance that the road will be completed in the near future.

The arrival of a number of new families in Sheridan the past week has revived the housing problem. Houses and apartments are unusually scarce.

A definite Lenten program is to be observed for the first time in the history of the Congregational church in Sheridan.
