JCSD1 Board Extends Contractor Services

The Johnson County School Board has voted to extend contract services with the current contractors for 90 days until January 30, 2023.

During their recent meeting, the board discussed the extension and why it was being considered.

According to information on the agenda, in the past the district has annually bid or renewed contract services for general building, general grounds, general electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and gym floor contractors.

There is a written clause in the contracts to extend the current contractor services for 90 days.

The District wanted to extend the current contracts for 90 days to allow them to review and evaluate current procedures.
