School Board Assigns Members to Committees

At their regular meeting Monday night, the Board of Trustees for the Johnson County School District welcomed their new board members, elected officers, and later in the meeting assigned themselves to committees.

New board members Travis Pearson, Casey Rodriguez, and Marcia Goddard joined Jan Johnson, Lynette Fox, Randy Brown, Kristen LeDoux, and Jody Verplancke to form the new board.

Trustee Dave Belus was re-elected to the board.

The board discussed each of the committees and decided which each trustee wished to serve on, then assigned them to themselves to serve on during the coming year.
