Governmental Relations talks proposed legislation

City of Sheridan Governmental Relations Specialist Bev Leichtnam’s office handles many responsibilities and information dissemination duties. 

One of those duties is watching the progress of bills as they pass through each step of the process in the legislature to become a law. Depending on what the bill addresses, once that process is finalized and the bill is signed into law, local governments throughout the Cowboy State take steps to implement that law.  

While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Leichtnam told listeners the bills her office is paying attention to as various committees meet to discuss them.
