Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 15, 1920.
The Good Roads Fair came to a successful close last night with gross receipts of $4,100. A detailed report will be published to the secretary later this week.
Sheridan has more people by the name of Johnson than any other name, according to available records. There are 46 Johnson families here.
Mrs. H. E. Reckard entertained at a very pretty informal Valentine luncheon yesterday at her home on West Whitney. A 1 o’clock luncheon was served, with red carnations, hearts and cupids forming the appropriate decorations.
Mr. and Mrs. L. T. Cox entertained at a pretty informal tea tonight.
