Mayor, Administrator Discuss Sheridan Main Street Project
Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger and City Administrator Stu McRae, while guests on our talk show Public Pulse Thursday, discussed the upcoming Sheridan Main Street Project, where the city will be partnering with the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
McRae said Mayor Bridger and Public Works Director Hans Mercer went to Cheyenne to lobby for Sheridan to get funding to assist in paying for the city’s portion of the project.

McRae explained the scope of the city’s portion of the project.
The project is expected to begin in the spring of 2023, and take two construction seasons to complete.
Construction will be done in two to three block sections of downtown at a time and the city will be looking into how to help with parking during construction, and how to minimize the impacts on downtown businesses.
