Kinskey on Funding for Numerous Local Agencies, Projects

State Senator Dave Kinskey (R-Sheridan) touched briefly on some issues that don’t necessarily affect the City of Buffalo, but the surrounding county when at the recent Buffalo City Council meeting.

He said he will be working on funding for the State Lab for brucellosis testing at this year’s legislative session as well as funding for predator management and weed and pest for both Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

Kinskey also touched on working on safety improvements on Sussex Road in southern Johnson County.

Kinskey said the plan is to talk about the possibility of putting in passing lanes on Sussex Road, similar to what they’ve already done on Highway 59 in Campbell County and other mineral industry impacted roads in Carbon County, along with other safety improvements.
