Sheridan Music Teachers Hold Dessert Theater

The Sheridan Music Teachers Association will hold a Dessert Theater Saturday at The Hub on Smith Street.

The event will be from 2 to 4 p.m and is to raise funds for upcoming association events such as Area Achievement Day in the spring and piano camp in the summer.

Tickets are $5 per person, $10 per family, and can be purchased at the door Saturday.

Local students of all ages and skill levels will provide music for entertainment and will serve dessert and coffee donated by several local bakeries. Gluten free dessert options will also be available.

The Sheridan Music Teachers Association is a local chapter of the Music Teachers National Association. The organization seeks to provide an outlet for local music teachers to share information, grow in their trade, support each other and provide better opportunities to their students to experience performance, boost community and progress in their musicianship.
