Pat BlairNow here’s Sheridan Media’s look back in time, to 100 years ago, by reporter Pat Blair as published in the Sheridan Enterprise newspaper on Feb. 9, 1920.
Everything is in readiness for the Good Roads Fair which is scheduled to open at Central Hall tonight. The event will open with a flourish of trumpets and is scheduled to continue each night throughout the week.
The fate of the “anti-shimmying” ordinance will be decided at a recessed meeting of the city council, to be held at 4 o’clock this afternoon.
W. H. Wallace, chairman of the good roads committee of the Sheridan Commercial club has received notice of his appointment to the Federal Highway Council Executive committee, which is headquartered in Washington.
George H. Tinker of Seattle is a guest at the Sheridan Inn.
