Ron RichterThe Sheridan City Council considered the transfer of a City owned ambulance at their recent meeting. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
Transfer of a 2008 City owned ambulance to the Clearmont Fire District was approved by the Council following a brief presentation by Sheridan Fire-Rescue Chief Gary Harnish. Harnish provided the Council with the history behind the ambulance.
Harnish said that the transfer of the ambulance came into play when the Clearmont Fire District expressed interest in the vehicle.
Nobody spoke during the public hearing that was held prior to the vote to allow transfer of the ambulance. The Council approved the motion by a vote of 6-0.
