A Revision to the Budget

Budget revision #1 was considered and ultimately approved by the Sheridan City Council at Monday night’s regularly scheduled meeting. The Council adopted a resolution authorizing adjustments to the current fiscal year budget. City Treasurer Karen Burtis.

Burtis said that during the current fiscal year, unanticipated income and new grants were received, thus creating amounts available for potential budget expenditures, and that unexpected expenditures occurred that need to be funded.  Transfer of appropriations and modifications of estimated revenues and appropriations are needed as the year progresses and more definitive information is obtained.
