Johnson County Approves Liquor License Transfer

A liquor license transfer has been approved by the Johnson County Commission.

The transfer was necessary due to a change in ownership, according to Commission Chair Bill Novotny, who said the new licensee would be MC Harper, LLC d/b/a the Cowboy Bar and Grill.

New owner Carla Harper was asked about her business plan moving forward.

No comment was offered during the public hearing for the transfer.

The commission approved the transfer unanimously.
