April 2022 Unemployment Numbers In Sheridan And Johnson Counties Down

The downward trend of unemployment numbers continue not just statewide in Wyoming, but in Sheridan and Johnson Counties as well.
The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services says state-wide seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers, dropped from 3.4% in March 2022 to 3.3% in April 2022.
The April numbers are also down from 4.8% compared to April 2021.
Sheridan Counties’ numbers were down from 3.4% in March to 3.0% in April, while Johnson County dropped from 3.6% to 3.2%.
The April 2021 numbers for Sheridan County was 4.6% and Johnson County was 4.8%.
Niobrara County had the lowest unemployment rate in April at 2.0%, while Natrona and Sublette Counties had the highest rate at 4.4%.
Nonfarm employment in the Cowboy State has increased 8,500 jobs from April 2021 to April 2022.
The U.S. seasonally adjusted unemployment numbers for April 2022 is at 3.6%, which is unchanged from March.
