Johnson County Approves WYDOT Cooperative Agreement
Johnson County’s Commissioners have approved a cooperative agreement between the county and the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for a chip seal project on Upper Clear Creek and Klondike Roads in Johnson County.
County Road & Bridge Supervisor Scott Pehringer explained the agreement further.
Pehringer said WYDOT’s chip seal program will begin in District 4 in June in Weston and Crook Counties and work toward Johnson County, so the project will begin in June and be completed in mid-July.
Johnson County’s portion of the project will chip seal 1.85 miles of Upper Clear Creek Road and .393 miles of Klondike Road.

Has anyone ever driven Rock Creek Road in the last year? It is just patches on patches and some spots are so narrow it’s barely 2 lanes. It’s a very high traffic road now and extremely dangerous.
