Black Gold Quarry Approved by Sheridan County

A quarry permit for Black Gold Land Co., LLC has been approved by the Sheridan County Commission.

County Planner Mark Reid brought the permit application before the commission at this week’s meeting, giving more details about the proposal.

The proposed site is a 15-acre property located off of Decker Road in northern Sheridan County, and is zoned (A) Agricultural.

The Planning & Zoning Commission voted 3-0 to recommend approval with some minor conditions.

The application has been advertised and the residents near the site have been notified.

No objections were filed on the application.
