Zorbas Steps Down as Cemetery Board President

John Zorbas has stepped down as president of the Cemetery District Board effective as of their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon.

Zorbas discussed what the board has accomplished during his tenure, and then said he felt he could do more as just a board member.

The board made nominations and the elected John Hansen as he president, who said he will serve in that position until the board’s elections later this fall.

Also elected was Craig Wetterlund as the vice-president of the board.
