City OKs Baseball Concessionaire, BHS Bonfire

Buffalo Youth Baseball will be running concessions for baseball games during the summer, after the approval of the Buffalo City Council at their recent meeting.
Mayor Shane Schrader explained further.
City Attorney Ben Kirven said he had reviewed the agreement and had no issues with it, and the council voted to approve it.
Also approved by the council was a request for a variance to the open burning ordinance for an end-of-the-year bonfire at Buffalo High School on Thursday, April 28.
City Fire Chief Gomer Gammon said he had no issue with the bonfire unless it was windy that day, in which case he would not allow it.
The City will provide a water truck to be on hand and available during the event.
