More orange barrels will be showing up on roads in North Central Wyoming.

Last week the WYDOT Transportation Commission awarded nearly $56 million in contracts for 11 projects in various locations in Wyoming.

One of them was a $2.35 million bid for work to be done on a 1/2 mile stretch of Wyoming State Highway 336 in Sheridan County.

Work will include electrical, sidewalk, irrigation, landscaping, curb and gutter, drainage and paving.

It is scheduled to be completed in late November.

Another project was a $3.6 million bid for work to be done on 1.4 miles of U.S. Highway 14-A in Big Horn County.

Work will include paving, electrical work, grading, milling, sidewalk work, curb and gutter.

That project is scheduled to be completed in late October.
