Baaahffalo Sheep Festival Scheduled for June
The second Baaahffalo Sheep Festival will be presented in June, after the Buffalo City Council approved requests from Buffalo Events, Inc. the organization.
Anke Kottmann, representing the organization, spoke to the city council and explained more about the event.
The council approved requests for street closures on Fetterman from Burritt to Western between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.; on Main Street from Angus to Fetterman from 10:15 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. for the running of the sheep; an open container request for Prosinski Park from 11 a.m. To 5 p.m.; and a noise variance from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m.
The Baaahffalo Sheep Fest is scheduled for Saturday, June 4 in Prosinski Park and will feature sheep dog trials, fun events for the kids, a petting zoo, music and vendors all to celebrate Buffalo’s sheep ranching heritage.
