County Applying for Web Address Change

The Sheridan County Commission has ratified a letter to .gov Domain Registration to change the county’s website name to sheridancountywy.gov from its current sheridancounty.com address.

According to the letter, the county wishes to “migrate their email and website infrastructure and naming convention away from the current address in order to assure the public and visitors to their website that they are the genuine and legitimate county government contact for Sheridan County and its associated communication and web-hosted information.”

The letter was ratified during the recent Sheridan County Commission meeting.
