Sheridan Commission Awards Contract for Culvert

The contract to replace a culvert washed out during the floods in early 2019 was awarded to a Sheridan construction company by the Sheridan County Commission this week.
According to County Engineer Ken Muller, eight separate bids were submitted to the county ranging from a low bid of just over $233,000 to a high of roughly $354,000.
He explains the scope of work and where it is located.
The low bid from LJS Concrete and Excavating, LLC was about $233,000 and was just over the engineer’s estimate on the project of roughly $232,000.
