Celebrate the Arts

Arts organizations in and around Sheridan will gather later this month for the annual Celebrate the Arts Festival. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.

Celebrate the Arts is a festival celebrating local art, artists and organizations who help make Sheridan and the surrounding area an artistic destination. According to a news release from SAGE Community Arts, participating organizations this year include the Brinton Museum, SAGE Community Arts, Sheridan Public Arts Committee, Ucross, Whitney Center for the Arts, and the WYO Theater. The organizations will present events throughout the course of the festival that will take place September 10th through the 14th.

SAGE Executive Director and Chair of the Celebrate the Arts Committee Kendra Heimbuck said it’s exciting to be able to offer the festival this year, especially with the challenges our community is facing.
