2026 Collective Arts Festival

The annual Collective Arts Festival was held in Whitney Commons Park Saturday. Activities included a creation station, storybook garden, a Sheridan County Cadets performance, and several of the WYO Play Lion King Jr., cast members’ singing and dancing.

The most unusual was Silence, an art endurance piece. Oakley Boycott sat in silence from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. She did not move, took no restroom, water or snack breaks or naps. Audience members were encouraged to come sit.
