City Council Addresses Code Revisions and Old Landfill Corrective Measures Project
Public hearings were held during Monday night’s Sheridan City Council business meeting for an ordinance that addresses fees within city code and an ordinance that revises chapters four, eight, and 18 of city code. No public comment was offered during either public hearing. Both of the ordinances were unanimously approved on first reading by the City Council.
The City Council also awarded the bid for the Old Landfill Corrective Measures Project to Wagner Ranch Services in the amount of $3.16 million. City Utilities Director Dan Roberts says the old landfill site is where the current Dog and Cat Shelter is located.
Under staff update, City Planner Kelly Schroeder presented information on accessory dwelling units.
