Arvada-Clearmont School to Host “The Amazing Shake”

On March 10, 2026 Jennifer Betz, Assistant Principal at Arvada-Clearmont School announced the upcoming Amazing Shake competition, taking place on March 12 and March 18. The Amazing Shake is an exciting and trans-formative experience designed to strengthen students’ leadership, professionalism, and communication skills.

Modeled after and inspired by the nationally recognized Amazing Shake at the Ron Clark Academy, this dynamic competition challenges students to demonstrate essential life skills such as confidence, critical thinking, poise, and professional etiquette. The Ron Clark Academy’s Amazing Shake has become a benchmark for developing students’ “soft skills,” and Arvada-Clearmont is honored to bring this powerful experience to its students.

Throughout the event, participants will engage in interactive, real-world scenarios that simulate authentic business and leadership situations, including mock interviews, networking challenges, problem-solving exercises, and public speaking opportunities.

“We are excited to bring The Amazing Shake to our students,” said Assistant Principal Jennifer Betz. “This experience goes beyond academics. It intentionally develops the communication and leadership skills that are critical for success in college, career, and life. The involvement of our community and industry partners makes this event especially meaningful and authentic.”

The event will be filled with respected business professionals, civic leaders, and community partners who will serve as judges, mentors, and role models. Their involvement underscores the strong partnership between Arvada-Clearmont and the broader community in preparing students for future success.
