SC Library System Renovations

Sheridan County Library System Director Amy Long appeared on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to share an update on a systemwide renovation project 

Long said there has been a delay on the library system receiving furniture but the renovations are being completed on schedule.

Designed to update and refresh library facilities located throughout Sheridan County these renovations were made possible through grant funding. Having never applied for grant funding in the past, Long said she was elated to receive these funds making it possible to renovate each location.

Renovations continue at the other branches but Long invites anyone to visit their local branch and view the improvements themselves. For those who wish to see the finished renovations, mid-to-late summer is the target time period, barring any further delays in deliveries.

During the renovation, the branch will offer a limited browsing collection and two computers for public use. According to the Sheridan County Library System, book holds and pickups, courier deliveries, Wi-Fi access and regular hours will not be impacted.
