Supporting the Mission

CHAPS Equine Assisted services is one of the nonprofit organizations that receives General Purpose Excise Tax funds from the City of Sheridan. CHAPS Executive Director Kristen Marcus recently provided an update on the organization to the Sheridan City Council.

Marcus said they had 90 volunteers in 2025 and that one volunteer donated over 542 hours by himself. To learn more about CHAPS, click here.
