Kendrick Pool to Open Next Week
The Kendrick Pool in Sheridan will open for the summer next week. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The Sheridan Recreation District has received a variance from Sheridan County Public Health and the Wyoming Department of Health to open Kendrick Pool for the summer Monday, June 15 at 1 pm. Sheridan Recreation District Executive Director Seth Ulvestad said that through June, they will have a limited capacity of 155 patrons in the facility at a time, which will increase to 233 patrons on July 1.
Ulvestad said that they will be following social distancing guidelines on the pool deck.
Ulvestad said that season passes at a discounted price will be available for purchase on June 15 at 9 am at the pool, and that swim lessons will begin July 6th with water exercise classes set to start on July 1.
Ulvestad said that patrons are discouraged from sharing items such as goggles, nose clips and snorkels, and that they are recommending that people observing from outside the pool wear face masks.
