One Person Killed In Single Vehicle Rollover On I-25 In Buffalo
Investigators are trying to determine what caused a single-vehicle rollover crash that killed the driver.
The Wyoming Highway Patrol says sometime after 4:30pm on Thursday, July 3rd, 36-year old Kayla Green was driving her Buick Rainier northbound on I-25 in Buffalo and was approaching the I-90 interchange.
She was initially in the left lane, then suddenly steered hard to the right, entered a broadside, driver side leaning slide, went off the right side of the roadway and slid into a barrow pit.
The vehicle struck a drainage ditch and rolled 1 1/2 times, coming to a rest on its roof.
The Patrol adds Green was not wearing her seatbelt and did not survive the crash.
