Lynn’s Super Foods Seeks Resolution to Water Leak Problem

A representative of Lynn’s Super Foods in Buffalo spoke to the Buffalo City Council to discuss a water line leak issue that his store has dealt with and paid for, but on a water line that isn’t hooked up to the store.
According to Store Manager Myron Gruckenberg, a leak was found in a water line in Fort Street, which was assumed to be servicing the store.
He said city officials told the store that the property being serviced by the line was responsible for repairs based on where the leak had occurred.
He explained that after work had begun to repair the leak, it was determined that the line did not serve the store, but a separate line on Carrington Street did, which made the work on Fort Street, in his opinion, the responsibility of the city. </a>
The council said they would have City Attorney Dennis Kirven review the information to determine if the city is, in fact, responsible for the repair work on the water line.
