Ron RichterAn ordinance establishing proposed changes and amendments to the M-1 zoning district and the creation of a M-2 zoning district within the City of Sheridan was tabled by the Sheridan City Council at their October 21 business meeting. The ordinance was tabled to allow more time for public involvement. City Planner Kelly Schroeder said that the City hosted a M1/M2 open house in December so that the public could learn more about the history of the M1 zoning and proposed changes. Schroeder addressed the City Council and Mayor Rich Bridger at this week’s study session.
Schroeder presented two options to the Council to consider moving forward.
The general consensus among the Council was to pursue option two for future consideration. Schroeder said she would reach out to affected property owners to inform them about what was discussed at the study session.
