Buffalo Council Grants Liquor License to Cenex Zip Trip

The Buffalo City Council, at their meeting Tuesday, awarded an available Liquor License to the Cenex Zip Trip on East Hart Street.

Two businesses applied for the license, the Cenex, and Rosie’s Americana Cafe downtown.

Troy Price, Manager of the Cenex Zip Trip, spoke to the council on what they have planned if awarded the liquor license.

The owners of Rosie’s were not present at the meeting but submitted a written application for the license, although a representative for them was there to answer questions.

The council split their vote 2 to 2 for each business to get the license, with Mayor Shane Schrader casting the tie-breaking vote for the Cenex Zip Trip.
