Pat BlairSheridan County School District 1 officials are making plans for graduation exercises on the high school football fields and praying for good weather.
That was the word from District Superintendent Pete Kilbride at a work session meeting of trustees earlier this week.
School District 1 operates two high schools – Big Horn High School in Big Horn and Tongue River High in Dayton.
Kilbride said the principals at both high schools have put together graduation plans based on use of the football fields, and district officials met last week with County Health Officer Dr. Ian Hunter.
Kilbride said Dr. Hunter believes the outdoor plans will past muster.
