Clothing Connections: Free Basement Boutique
Sometimes, those in our community who are less fortunate need a little extra cheer this holiday season. Some may even need winter coats, hats and boots to keep out the Wyoming winter cold.
Enter Clothing Connections, one of the participating businesses at the 29th Annual Christmas Stroll held on Friday night. Clothing Connections is a ministry of the Illuminate Church 38 S Main St.
Ashley Koltiska, one of the lead volunteers, was at the Stroll and she talked about what they do.
In addition to the Christmas Stroll, Clothing Connections does four to five events per year, but one can call 307-461-5344 and have a private shopping experience.
They accept donations of good used clothing, as well as donations of funds to help to pay for making this ministry possible. She added that sometimes they have to close the donation window, but when they take donations, they will post it on the Facebook page.
They encourage people to take what they need and pay it forward if possible.
