State Senators Bo Biteman and Dave Kinskey were guests on the Public Pulse Open Lines show last Friday to discuss this year’s legislative session that wrapped up earlier this month.

Both senators talked about what they called the “set-up” of the first Joint Conference Committee by Senate leadership, and touched on the comments made by Senate President Odgen Driskill, who claimed that the senators on that committee, and their leadership, namely Kinskey, were “ineffective” in their negotiations with their House counterparts.

Senator Kinskey.

Kinskey said if there’s name-calling in the Senate, it won’t be done by himself or Biteman.

When asked if this type of behavior will continue in future legislative sessions, Biteman said he didn’t think so, and explained why.

Kinskey and Biteman both discussed the Freedom Caucus and the Wyoming Caucus, their differences, and how the upcoming elections will shape the legislature for 2025.

We will have that in an upcoming story.
