cvannoyOn January 16, Ucross announced that the exhibit, The Shape of Time: 16 Photographers and Their Creative Paths at the Ucross Art Gallery will close on Friday, January 26.
The exhibition is guest curated by Ucross alumnus Keith Davis, a photographic historian, author, curator, and image maker based in Sheridan, Wyoming. Each artist is represented by two works — one early, one more recent — and a statement on the journey in between. Years of work and thought are represented in the gap between the selected works, revealing much about each artist’s approach. This exhibition allows us to appreciate what these superb artists have done as well as giving us special insight into how they think.
The Ucross Art Gallery is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the onsite Ucross Café is open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On January 26, both will close temporarily, as the staff concludes The Shape of Time exhibit and prepares for the next exhibition, opening in February.
