Ron RichterAn extension of a funding agreement between the City of Sheridan and the Sheridan Economic and Educational Development Authority was an item of discussion at this week’s City Council study session. City Attorney Brendon Kerns provides some background on the joint powers board and the funding agreement.
Kerns discussed the management through SEEDA Administrator Robert Briggs.
Kerns said the agreement is similar to the current agreement that the joint powers board is currently operating under.
The current funding agreement was entered into in 2021 and expires June 30, 2024. The new funding agreement between the two entities will be up for consideration by the City Council at an upcoming business meeting.
