Ron RichterCity officials recently received an update on the municipal golf course. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
City of Sheridan Parks Director Steve Gage provided a year-end review of Kendrick Golf Course at the most recent business meeting of the Sheridan City Council. Gage gave a brief history of the course before getting into the numbers for the 2023 season. Gage said there were over 21,000 rounds of golf played at Kendrick this past summer.
Gage said that despite the slight increase from last year in rounds played, season passes were down 17 percent.
Gage said about two-thirds of season passes are sold preseason, or prior to April 1, and the other third are sold once the season starts or shortly thereafter. Gage said total revenues for the 2023 season were up six percent from the previous year.
