cvannoyThe Wyoming Women’s Foundation Women’s Antelope Hunt is now in its 11th year. Each year in October it is held at the Ranch at Ucross, with guides throughout Sheridan and Johnson Counties taking out the women hunters to harvest pronghorn antelope. This year the hunt ran from Oct. 12-15.
The hunt emphasizes hunter safety, hunting and land ethics, and the conservation and the proper management of wild natural resources, for an enjoyable experience for participants, guides, and landowner(s).

She added about the fundraising auction, on Friday night, saying there were around 100 items to be auction off this year. The proceeds go to the Wyoming Women’s Foundation, which invests in the economic self-sufficiency of women and opportunities for girls
Nancy Donaldson
Hunters Nancy Donaldson and Brit Bisbee were two of the successful hunters on Friday. Donaldson is from Chicago, and she talked about how she came to the pronghorn hunt.
Adding that she has hunted whitetail deer, but never hunted pronghorn, she said that she downed a nice buck during her hunt.
Brit Bisbee
Bisbee, who hails from Idaho, and has hunted deer and elk previous to this hunt, took a nice buck antelope this year with the Women’s Hunt.
