On Saturday, Aug 26, the public was invited to spend the afternoon at Trail End, viewing cars made in the 1960s and earlier and vote for their favorites!

There were fourteen vintage cars parked in the driveway of the Trail End Mansion. Entries were limited to cars made before 1970, since the Kendrick family only owned the home until the late 1960s.

George Meredith

George Meredith who displayed his 1930 Ford Model A, talked about his car.

Dennis and Sue Pratt also had a Ford Model A 1928 Model that Sue said was named, “Betsy.”

Dennis said that he purchased the car from George Meredith said he couldn’t say much about the car,

One rare car, at the show was a 1938 Pontiac Business Coupe, owned by Terry Rivard and winner of Best Restoration, and Rivard had this to say about the car,

Other winners were best original: Coyote Dow and his 1925 Model T, and Best in Show went to Mary Ann Bledsoe and her 1965 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud

The car show itself is free, and a good crowd came to enjoy the vintage cars and the Trail End Mansion.
