Reata Cook – Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2023 Interview

A Sheridan County Cowgirl who is used to wearing crowns of rodeo royalty, will be wearing a bigger one, and she may not be done yet.

In mid-August, Reata Cook, who was the 2022 Miss Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen, was named Miss Rodeo Wyoming for 2023.

Her reign as Miss Rodeo Wyoming doesn’t start until January 1st, 2023.

Cook’s path to rodeo royalty started in 2012 when she was named the Sheridan WYO Rodeo Junior Princess, and in 2018 she was named Sheridan WYO Rodeo Senior Princess.

She is a 2019 graduate of Big Horn High School, as well as Sheridan College and is currently taking on-line courses through Chadron State to earn her education degree.

Cook has automatically qualified for the Miss Rodeo America pageant that will take place in December 2023.
