Biteman Talks Revenue Decreases

The recent CREG report was not as promising as one would hope. Sheridan Media’s Rustin Burr shares the details on one local legislators take.

The January report from the Consensus Revenue Estimating Group showed that their predictions from last fall were millions of dollars too high. Recently, while a guest on our news talk show Public Pulse, Sheridan County Senator Bo Biteman shared his thoughts on what factors led to the lack of revenue.

Senator Biteman also suggested an area that could be looked at to find some room to remedy inefficiencies.

On February 10, the 24 day Budget Session of the 65th Wyoming Legislature will begin and the Legislators will be tasked with crafting a budget for the next two fiscal years. The CREG report shows that there could be some obstacles to overcome.
