FALL SPORTS START UP INFORMATION FOR SHERIDAN HIGH SCHOOL

Football – Parent meeting Sunday Aug 8th at 4 pm SHS Auditorium

Practice starts Monday Aug 9th, 9-12 grade 7 am with a second practice for 10-12 grade at 4:30 pm

Tennis – Parent Meeting Wednesday Aug 4th at 5:30 pm @ SHS Tennis Courts

Practice starts Monday Aug 9th 8-10 am and 4-6:30 pm

Golf – Parent meeting Wednesday Aug 11th at 5:30 pm

Practice starts Monday Aug 9th at 1 pm @ Kendrick Golf Course

Cross Country – Practice  starts Aug 16th 6:30-8:30 am, 6-7 pm.  Meet on the front lawn at SHS.

Volleyball – Practice starts Monday Aug 16th, 8 am and 4 pm in the SHS gym

Girls Swim – Practice starts Aug 16th 4-6 pm @ the SHS Pool

Cheer Team Meet the Coach – August 10th at 6 pm in the SHS Cafeteria, Practice info will be shared at that time

Booster Club BBQ and Fall Parent Meeting @ SHS Monday Aug 23rd-BBQ @ 5:30, Parent meeting at 7 pm

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The American Legion northwest regional tournament continues in Gillette

in loser out action the Billings Royals were eliminated by Eugene, Oregon 4-2, Helena, Montana knocked out Eagle River. Alaska 13-0.

In the winners bracket games both Wyoming teams lost Cheyenne dropped an 8-3 game to Yakima, Washington and Gillette fell 1-0 to Idaho Falls.

Today in loser out play Cheyenne plays Helena and Gillette plays Eugene and the winners game tonight Yakima will play Idaho Falls.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – Trevor Story hit two home runs, including a go-ahead, two-run drive in the fifth inning of the Rockies’ 6-5 win over the Cubs.

Sam Hilliard and Connor Ioe also homered and Brendan Rodgers extended his hitting streak to a dozen games with two singles for the Rockies.

The Rox open a weekend home series with Miami tonight first pitch is at 6:40 on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
