Winter Weather has Again Forced Changes in This Week’s Local Sports Schedule

SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams play Laramie tomorrow and Cheyenne South Saturday the Broncs are on the road.

The Lady Broncs host Laramie tomorrow with games at 4:00 and 6:00.

Saturday depending on weather they host Cheyenne South at 10 and noon.

TRACK AND FIELD – A poor weekend weather forecast has changed this week’s track and field schedule schedule as the Dan Hansen track meet is being held today with events getting underway at 1:30.

Head coach Taylor Kelting says it’s nice to have another opportunity to compete and get better today.

Next Tuesday Sheridan high school will host the annual the Gary Benson Border War meet with the big schools from Billings events start at 1:00.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers are still scheduled to play in Buffalo tomorrow.

TENNIS – The Sheridan high school tennis players are still on for play in Casper Saturday.

AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers games in Gillette this weekend have been called off with winter weather on the way.

Head coach Ben Phillips says here we go again with the weather and all they can do is make the best of the situation.

The Sheridan Jets games set for Saturday in Billings have also been called off.

ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies lost 9-5 against Philadelphia Wednesday afternoon, the Rox are off today and start a road series in Detroit tomorrow night you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
