BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams split games with Thunder Basin Tuesday night the Lady Broncs took a 1-0 lead early but Thunder gained momentum in the 2nd half and posted a 3-1 victory.
After the game Lady Broncs Head coach Kevin Riser said Thunder is really good and the Lady Broncs played them tough.
Their next game is a big match up at home with Laramie Friday evening.
The Broncs jumped on Thunder early building up a 3-1 lead but the Bolts wouldn’t go away and the Broncs were able to hold them off for a 4-3 win, Broncs Head coach Scott Soderstrom.
And he sees the Broncs only getting better going forward.
Friday evening the Lady Broncs host Laramie with games at 4:00 and 6:00 Saturday they host Cheyenne south at 10 and noon while the Broncs play on the road.
TRACK AND FIELD – A poor weekend weather forecast has changed this week’s track and field schedule schedule as the Dan Hansen track meet will now be held tomorrow with events getting underway at 1:30.
Next week on Tuesday Sheridan high school will host the annual the Gary Benson Border War meet with the big schools from Billings.
GOLFERS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers will tee it up in Buffalo Friday.
TENNIS – The Sheridan high school tennis players will play in Casper Saturday.
TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers will open their season over in Gillette weather permitting Saturday and Sunday with double headers against the Billings Royals and Scarlets.
ROCKIES BASEBALL – The Colorado Rockies beat Philadelphia 6-5 last night they play again today first pitch at 1:10 you can hear Rockies baseball on Smart Talk 106.3 FM.
