Troopers Sweep Rock Springs / College Signing at Sheridan High School

TROOPER BASEBALL – The Sheridan Troopers ended the regular season yesterday with a double header sweep of Rock Springs ending their nine game home stand with an 8-1 record and finish the regular season with a record of 40-12 overall.

Head coach Ben Phillips says it was a great stretch of games for the Troops.

And he says the pitching staff really came through when they needed them.

In the second game yesterday the Troopers beat Rock Springs in 5 innings due to the 10 run rule and starting pitcher Nate Killian faced the minimum of 15 batters to complete a perfect game.

The Troopers will host the Double “AA” state tournament which starts Monday.

SHS COLLEGE SIGNING – There was another college Letter of Intent signing at Sheridan high school Monday, Sheridan Media’s Kevin Koile has the story.

The Sheridan Hawks will host a fundraising golf tournament August 12th at the Powder horn, they have registration set up on their website at sheridanhawks,com.
